When can I expect delivery of my payroll?
Courier services provide next-day delivery of payrolls, usually before 1:00 PM. Regular mail, UPS, and Airborne Express are other options, although extra costs, restrictions, and delivery schedules may apply.
What methods are available for getting my payroll information to Ace Payroll?
Ace utilizes the latest and most efficient methods available for submitting your payroll information, including electronic remote access via PayChoice Connection and PayChoice Online.
Payroll information can also be submitted by phone and fax.
What is the latest time I can send in my payroll?
Ace typically requests that payrolls be submitted no later than 3:00PM on the day of processing in order to make them ready for next-day delivery. Prior notification should be provided if this requirement cannot be met.
Generally, payrolls submitted after 3:00PM will be processed the following day and delivered the day after that.
Can Ace Payroll handle my tax payment and tax return filing obligations?
Ace Payroll is a full-service bureau that can handle all your quarterly and annual tax payment and return filing needs at the local, state, and federal level.
Can my quarterly returns be stored on CDROM?
Yes, all quarterly and annual returns can be archived on CDROM for viewing and printing using the ViewChoice software.
Document archives on CDROM can be sent to both clients and their accountants.
I received a tax notice. What should I do?
Any tax notices received by our clients should be forwarded to our office. Please contact us for more information.
For our tax service clients, Ace guarantees the accuracy of all deposits and filings submitted on their behalf.
My employees frequently lose their checks. What alternate payment options are available?
Ace recommends that employers in this situation set up direct deposit for all their employees with checking or savings accounts.
Alternately, employers can offer Debit Card payment through Ace.
Why has my direct deposit not taken effect yet? How long is the pre-note period?
The pre-note period allows for a test file to pass through the ACH system to verify that the account is active and that the account and routing numbers are correct. This period can last up to ten business days. However, it applies only once to each employee.
Can I still use direct deposit if I belong to a credit union or have an investment account?
In most cases the answer is yes, as long as you have an ACH-qualified account.
I am not always available to sign payroll checks. What are my options?
Ace Payroll Services offers its customers the option of a check-signing service. Authorized signatures are captured digitally and laser-imprinted on every check.
The PayMast'r Debit Card and Ace's Direct Deposit services are also effective and timesaving alternatives to manually signed checks.
